http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Guild...ete_Collection Can anyone confirm this? Also, what pros/cons are there to starting a new account vs keeping the old? I don't really think my old characters are a huge deal, but having a mule account could be handy, and choosing one account with 8 and one with 4 slots vs just one account with 6 slots doesn't seem like a tough choice. Edit: The complete pack comes with a single code that either adds all the expansions to an existing account and gives +2 character slots, or creates a new account with all expansions and 8 character slots and 4 bank slots. At least I was able to punch the code in and get a rundown of what was going to happen before hitting "confirm" but I would have preferred to simply have 8 slots (or at least 6, one for each expansion) added to my account plus the bank slots. I found the complete pack at Wal-Mart for $40. P.S. Darcy pointed out that buying the 3 campaigns separately would also end up with 8 character slots, so there would be no benefit to buying separately if you currently own zero guild wars accounts. However, if you can find separate keys for the expansions you don't have for less $$ than the complete pack (or just want to keep your initial account), you may want to see what prices you can find the individual campaigns for, since each adds two character slots. @Generalanders - When you add the Trilogy (or Complete Collection) access key (it only has one key) to your account, it does not disturb your existing characters. It just adds anything you didn't have before.

I would go with prophecies if you are new because everything is taught to you in a quickness in which you will be able to learn because it is not so fast like Factions. If Factions would have been my first game for GW I would have been so lost. Prophecies, even though it was the first to come out, is definitely the first you should play as a beginner.

Personally I think at this point the best bet would be to buy the three pack that is sold and then do Nightfall first. Factions is horrible and Prophecies is too drawn out. Nightfall is made much easier by the addition of Heroes and you can always go back and do Prophecies and Factions later with your heroes along.

I might as well ask this here:
Friend of mine is looking for a cheap Complete Collection, and seems they got just that in most UK site. (~14??) Has anyone here ordered from UK sites before and knows which ones ships for cheap (or free) to Canada ? Thanks. |

I checked out amazon.co.uk's postage for Canada (I ordered my own Guild Wars Complete Collection from there at ??14.99). It's makes a weird distinction between CD/DVD/Book/Video for it's postage costs, and I'm really not sure where computer games fall in there. It might be anything between ??3 and ??7. In total, that's between 27.5 and 34 Canadian Dollars for the game and postage. ??15 is a common price mark for the complete collection this side of the pond. Still no price cuts on your side, I guess? |

For you Canadians who are still undecided where to purchase the game for cheap, my friend ordered the GW: Complete Collection from here:
http://www.mymemory.co.uk/PC-Games/G...C%29-%28DVD%29 Total price (with shipping) was ??16.40, which was $26,50. Applied it to his NA Prophecies account just fine. It took 2 weeks though, but for the price it's not that bad. |

I purchased the Trilogy after playing the demo. Although, I have no idea on how to access anything other than Prophecies. Anyone else purchase that version online from NCSoft?

Zatria, you either start a character in another campaign or get your Prophecies to Lion's Arch, be level 10 and take the appropriate quest. http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Campaign_Travel

So... Question...
I want to play GW1 (I played it for a very limited time when it was first released and I enjoyed it, but I stopped playing MMOs shortly after, so my time logged is minimal) before GW2 comes out. I want the Trilogy... But I also want Eye of the North. From all I've read, I'd have to purcahse the Trilogy AND Eye of the North. Is this true? |

The Complete Collection looks like its $89.99.
I can get Eye of the North for $10.00 and Trilogy for $29.99 (or less in some places). Does Complete Collection have something that I'm missing? |

$90?! It definitely shouldn't cost that much. All it is is the Trilogy and EotN; nothing else. Just go with whatever is cheapest. All 4 games for $40 (or less) sounds good to me.

Buy one or all
I have a few questions!
1. If i buy that guild wars trilogy i get three Keys to play online? 2. I need all of them to my account? 3. Each for play each version? 4. Or i need only one and the other i can use on another account? (brother and i have trial accounts on prophecies) |

1) The trilogy comes as one key that contains all three campaigns.
2-3) Not sure what you're asking, but you will need to add the key to your account. Doing so will allow you to access the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns. 4) If you want to upgrade two accounts, you'll need two keys.
